Villa Bussum is private residence, completed in June 2009 that is situated in a lush, leafy neighborhood in Bussum, a small town near Amsterdam. A cut-out corner facing the street in front of the modern house design is clearly indicates the main entrance. The villa’s modern sculptural character ensures that it fits in with the neighborhood’s monumental, sometimes even frivolous 19th century villas.
Modern Villa Design With Garden
The modern villa’s design enhances its integration with both context and community, yet outstanding by its singular language. This descending path extends itself to underneath the cantilevering villa, thereby providing garden access for the base.
On the eastern side of the villa, a secluded garden and a second entrance can be found.
