This is Raunch Residence architecture design by BAAN Design. Remodeling of a house in Seattle, Washington. With contemporary design, the house that built in two stories is connected with diagonal stairs. The upper story is being use for a kitchen, family room and deck area above a new daylight basement with a master bedroom. With kitchen and family room on higher place give it a clearly landscape view trough glass window.
Window that is built large enough, is not only giving territorial view but also serve as natural daylight to the room. The house architecture was constructed primarily of glass (aluminum storefront glazing system), exposed concrete, and galvanized steel; with exception to the roof. As it is mentioned from the architect site that the owners have a passion for the mid-century modern aesthetic in addition to an appreciation of industrial materials.
